Modoock builds an electronic medical record (EMR) and hospital management platform. I worked on its backend in Node.js and Go.

What I worked on

  1. Kafka sync between services

    I designed and ran the Kafka pipeline that kept patient data, billing, and appointments in sync between services.

    The backend ran as Dockerized microservices on PostgreSQL, and I exposed them to the frontend through REST APIs. When something weird happened in production, I dug into it with the frontend and DevOps teams.
