Woulouj is a school management system, with an app for staff and a mobile app for parents and students. At Atoms IT I built the staff app and got everything running on local servers.

What I worked on

  1. Staff app

    I built it as a desktop app with Next.js and Tauri. Staff used it to manage student and teacher records, enrollment, classes and groups, grades, and timetables.

  2. RFID attendance

    This was the most fun part to build. Students scanned RFID bracelets as they walked in, and teachers checked in with RFID too, so the system took attendance instead of someone ticking names off a list. Staff could see who was absent or late, and export the data when they needed it.

  3. Builds and local setup

    I set up GitHub Actions to build the app. Apart from that pipeline, nothing ran in the cloud: I installed the app and ran the Go backend on local servers.
